Recent data suggests that ketamine, administered intravenously, could be the most significant breakthrough in antidepressant treatment in decades.
Our Keta-ker treatment aims to provide relief and offer hope to those suffering from treatment-resistant conditions.
To determine if it is the appropriate treatment, we conduct a mental health examination through questionnaires and an evaluation by a psychiatrist.
We also perform a general medical evaluation and a physical examination by anesthesiology to ensure that there are no impediments to receiving Ketamine treatment.
We ensure that there are no patients who want to use Ketamine recreationally or use it irresponsibly. Your safety is our top priority.
After the initial evaluation, we will schedule your infusion sessions. Before each infusion, we will need to verify that you come with a companion to leave the clinic, as you will not be able to drive for the next few hours until the effects of Ketamine wear off. On the day of the infusion, you will be taken to an exclusive infusion area. While we set up the IV, one of our anesthesiologists will conduct a pre-assessment and check your vital signs. During the procedure, you will be in a comfortable chair throughout the entire 45-minute infusion sessions.
We will closely monitor you throughout the entire intravenous infusion process. You will be connected to our monitors, and our anesthesia team will ensure your safety until the infusion is completed. After the procedure, you will remain in the recovery area for approximately 30 minutes for observation until our medical providers determine that you are ready to be discharged.
While receiving a course of ketamine infusions, you will be periodically evaluated to provide ongoing support. Additionally, all patients will receive psychiatric follow-up after completing their infusion sessions.
